Introduction to Remix
Remix is a Gamma feature that allows you to use AI to use any Gamma as a starting point for another—letting you repurpose existing content to make new content. You can use remix with any non-site gamma, or with your workspace templates.
Perfect for:
Adapting a presentation for a different client or audience
Creating unique lesson plans that follow the same pattern (eg. "turn this lesson plan into another one about…")
Filling in a meeting template with notes

FAQs & Common Issues
Is Remix a paid feature?
No. Remix is available across all plans, but it does cost credits. Learn more about credits here: How do credits work in Gamma?
How is Remix different from Workspace Templates?
Workspace templates let you organize and centralize the gammas you want to remix on a regular basis. Remix is the functionality that lets you use a gamma as a starting point for another gamma. You can remix a workspace template or a regular gamma. Learn more about Gamma's Workspace Templates here: How do I use Workspace Templates?
Will remixing a template edit the original?
No. Remix is using the template, not editing it.
Who can use Remix?
Anyone in your workspace can create using Remix. Workspace Templates inherit the same permissions as the original gamma, so editing access depends on how the original was shared. However, workspace templates cannot be private and must be shared with the workspace with at least "view" permission.
