Introduction
Copying slides between gammas allows you to reuse content efficiently without recreating it from scratch.
🌀 Insight: You can quickly duplicate single or multiple slides using the filmstrip and keyboard shortcuts.
How to Copy and Paste Slides Between Gammas
There are two different options for different use cases!
Option 1 - Copying to Any Deck
Step 1: Select the Slide(s) to Copy
Open the gamma containing the slide(s) you want to copy.
Locate the filmstrip on the left-hand side of the screen.
Right-click the slide you want to copy and select Copy.
Alternatively, press Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (Windows).
Step 2: Copy Multiple Slides (Optional)
To select multiple slides, hold down the shift key and select the additional slides you want to copy.
You can also select all slides by pressing Cmd + A (Mac) or Ctrl + A (Windows).
Step 3: Paste Slides into a New Gamma
Open the destination gamma where you want to paste the slides.
Click anywhere in the filmstrip.
Press Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (Windows) to paste the copied slide(s).

🔷 Note: This method is great for fast copying - as long as the gamma you’re pasting into is one of your 5 most recently viewed.
For anything else, use Option 1.
Step 1: Select the Slide(s) to Copy
Open the gamma that contains the slide(s) you want to copy.
Right click on the slide(s) in the filmstrip, OR select the "three-dot menu (…)” on the left top corner of a slide.
Choose Copy to deck.
Step 2: Paste Slides into a Recent Gamma
A list of your 5 most recently viewed gammas will automatically appear.
Choose the gamma you want to paste into, and click onto it.
You’ll be taken directly to that gamma, with your copied slides already in place!

Can I copy slides between different workspaces?
Yes, you can copy and paste slides between different workspaces!
Will pasted slides retain their formatting?
Yes! All content and formatting will stay the same, but the pasted slides will inherit the theme of the new gamma.
Can I undo a paste action if I make a mistake?
Yes, press Cmd + Z (Mac) or Ctrl + Z (Windows) to undo a paste immediately.
