How do I copy a card from one Gamma to another?

Introduction

Copying cards between gammas allows you to reuse content efficiently without recreating it from scratch. You can quickly duplicate single or multiple cards using the filmstrip and keyboard shortcuts.

How to Copy and Paste Cards Between Gammas

Step 1: Select the Card(s) to Copy

  1. Open the gamma containing the card(s) you want to copy.

  2. Locate the filmstrip on the left-hand side of the screen.

  3. Right-click the card you want to copy and select Copy.

    • Alternatively, press Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (Windows).

Step 2: Copy Multiple Cards (Optional)

  1. To select multiple cards, hold Shift and click the additional cards you want to copy.

  2. You can also select all cards by pressing Cmd + A (Mac) or Ctrl + A (Windows) twice.

Step 3: Paste Cards into a New Gamma

  1. Open the destination gamma where you want to paste the cards.

  2. Click anywhere in the filmstrip.

  3. Press Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (Windows) to paste the copied card(s).

  • Yes, you can copy and paste cards between different workspaces!

Will pasted cards retain their formatting?

  • Yes! All content and formatting will stay the same, but the pasted cards will inherit the theme of the new gamma.

Can I undo a paste action if I make a mistake?

  • Yes, press Cmd + Z (Mac) or Ctrl + Z (Windows) to undo a paste immediately.
