Creating a new presentation in Gamma
How do I create something with Gamma AI?
To create using Gamma AI, go to your dashboard and select Create new AI. From there, you'll have the option to use Generate, Paste or Import.
Which mode should I use?
Generate is best for giving you a first draft and helping you get ideas.
Give AI a topic and we give you a beautiful first draft. If you want to tweak or refine further, you can do so in Advanced Mode.
Paste in text is best for transforming your notes or large amounts of text.
You can drop in an outline or document created elsewhere (like ChatGPT) and Gamma's AI will convert it.
Import file or URL is best for converting existing decks, docs, or URLs.
We'll do our best to preserve your content or transform it and style it as a gamma.

Can I edit with Gamma AI?

Once you've created your Gamma, click the sparkle icon in the top left of your card to edit with AI. From here, AI can help you refine your content and layout.
Why didn't the AI editor do what I wanted it to?
This feature is still in beta testing and we're working on teaching it how it can best assist you. If you encounter repeated errors, please reach out to our team so we can investigate!
Here are a couple of things to keep in mind:
This menu only edits one card at a time. To edit multiple, click on the sparkle icon in the top right of your screen.
The AI editor cannot make changes to the theme, but we're working on this!
