Introduction
If you're building a multi-page gamma site and want to create a seamless user journey, linking directly to a specific card on another page is a useful feature. This can help guide your viewers to the exact content they need—whether it's a pricing section, contact form, or featured update.
What is Card-Level Linking?
Card-level linking allows you to send viewers to a specific card (section) within a different page on your gamma site. It works by targeting the card's header as an anchor using a unique URL structure.
How to Link a Site Page to a Specific Card on Another Page
Step 1: Create a Destination Button on the Target Page
Navigate to the destination page (the one containing the card you want to jump to).
Add a button block anywhere on that page.
Use the auto-complete link option to select the desired card by referencing the card's header title.
Step 2: Publish and Copy the Full URL
Publish the destination page.
In your browser, open the published page.
Hover over the button you created and copy the full URL (including the
#
anchor at the end of the URL).
Step 3: Add the URL to the Source Page
Navigate to your source page (the one where you want to place the jump link).
Create a new button or text link, and paste the full URL you copied in Step 2.
Republish your site to apply the changes.
Pro Tip: Use clear and distinct header titles on your cards to make auto-complete easier when creating links.
FAQs & Common Issues
Why isn’t my link jumping to the card?
Make sure the card header text hasn’t changed after creating the button.
Confirm that the destination page is published, and that you’re copying the correct URL with the
#
anchor.
Can I link from a navigation bar?
Currently, navigation bar links do not support jumping to specific cards—only to full pages.
