Introduction
Gamma allows you to create streamlined, multi-page websites without the hassle of traditional website builders. This guide walks you through how to structure, design, and optimize your Gamma sites for SEO, lead generation, and easy management.
This article is part of our Community Series, where we share tips and workflows from Gamma’s power users.
This guide comes from community member Grant Fuellenbach, who has built advanced multi-page sites in Gamma and shared his best practices with us.
Plan Your Website Structure
Before you start creating pages, map out the hierarchy of your website.
Start with a homepage - this is your main landing page.
Add subpages for key sections.
Examples include: About, Services, Portfolio, Contact, and Blog.
Consider multiple domains for different purposes. Use one for your primary business site and another for top-of-funnel content like blogs or lead magnets.
To create a site, you can:
Convert an existing gamma into a site, or
Create a new site from scratch using AI or blank

💎 Pro Tip: Location-based businesses benefit from creating pages optimized for local SEO, like “Custom Home Builder in Fort Collins, CO.”
Use Templates to Save Time
Templates help you maintain consistency and quickly create new pages.
Create a “Template Page” (e.g., Blog Post Template).
Design reusable elements like a header or footer once.
Duplicate your template for each new page, like blogs or lead magnets.
💎 Pro Tip: Save your footer as a reusable card so you don’t need to recreate it for every page.
You can also browse Gamma's pre-existing "Templates" and "Inspiration" pages, and make them your own!
Add and Manage Multiple Pages
Gamma handles pages differently than presentations or docs. To add multiple pages:
Click the “Toggle Pages” button in your Gamma site, on your top left corner.
View all existing pages attached to your primary domain or Gamma default URL.
Click “+ Add Page” to create additional pages.

Configure Your Navigation Bar
The navigation bar helps visitors find your most important pages.
Enable the navigation bar. This creates a top menu for your site.
Add links to internal or external pages. Examples: “Blog,” “About Us,” or a Beehive newsletter link.
Group related pages into ‘super links.’ For example, one link can lead to a page that lists all blog posts.
Customize Branding and Visuals
A professional, consistent look enhances trust and SEO.
Use a transparent logo. Especially for dark-themed sites, this avoids white boxes around your logo.
Select a site theme. Marketing and main domains can use different styles.
Preview images on mobile. This ensures they look clean and readable on all devices.
🌀 Insight: Gamma sites are mobile responsive by default, so you don’t need to create a separate mobile version.
Optimize Pages for SEO
Search engine optimization improves discoverability of your site.
Use H1, H2, and H3 headings to structure content.
Rename your page with an SEO-friendly “URL Path” and “Meta Description.”
Include descriptive keywords, like “/blog-custom-home-builders.”
🔷 Note: Using an AI tool to generate headings, meta descriptions, and slugs can save time and improve rankings.
Test and Proofread Before Publishing
Click all links and buttons. Confirm they go to the correct destination.
Preview on mobile. Send the link to your phone and check in Chrome.
Proofread your content. You can even upload a screenshot or PDF to an AI tool for error detection.
Track Performance and Iterate
Tracking page performance helps you improve engagement.
Add Google Analytics or Tag Manager. This allows you to monitor traffic and conversions.
Consider adding Meta/Facebook Pixel. Useful for tracking ad-driven visitors.
Test page variations. Duplicate a page, tweak it, and compare performance.
Establish a Repeatable Workflow
A consistent process saves time and reduces errors.
Create an standard operation procedure (SOP) for each type of page. Blog posts, landing pages, and location pages should all have clear steps.
Include testing and SEO checks in your process.
Use AI for structured content. This helps maintain consistent formatting and tone.
💎 Pro Tip: Before assigning web tasks to others, document your SOP to prevent mistakes and keep branding consistent.
