Introduction

Gamma supports multiple languages, and in most cases, the interface will automatically match your browser's language settings. If you need to manually change the language or use a browser translation tool, follow the steps below.

How to Change the Gamma Interface Language

Gamma automatically detects your browser language and adjusts accordingly. If you want to switch to a different supported language:

Step 1: Open User Settings

Click on your user profile in the top-right corner of the Gamma dashboard.
Locate the Language Settings option.

Step 2: Select Your Preferred Language

Choose from the available languages in the dropdown menu.
Gamma will immediately apply the selected language.
If needed, refresh your browser for the changes to fully take effect.

Using the Language Switcher in Gamma

Alternatively, you can quickly switch back to English or another supported language using the language switcher.

Step 1: Access the Language Switcher

Click the ? icon in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard.
Select Language Settings from the dropdown.

Step 2: Override to English or Another Language

Click on Set Language and select your preferred language.
The interface will update accordingly.

How to Use Browser-Based Translation for Unsupported Languages

If your language is not yet supported by Gamma, you can use browser-based translation tools to translate the interface.

For Google Chrome:

Right-click anywhere on the page.
Select Translate to [Your Language].
The page will refresh and display in your chosen language.
Manage the translation settings by clicking the translate icon in the top-right corner of the address bar.

Important Notes:

Browser translations apply only to the current tab and will reset if you refresh or open a new tab.
Some text elements or buttons may not translate perfectly.

How to Create in Another Language Using Gamma

Gamma allows you to type in any language supported by your system. You can also upload a custom font to match your language’s script.

Using AI in Another Language

Gamma’s AI generator and editor support multiple languages. To create AI-generated content in your preferred language:

Step 1: Start a New AI-Generated Gamma

From your Gamma homepage, click Create New AI.

Step 2: Choose an AI Mode

Paste in Text – Provide detailed instructions or an outline in your language, and Gamma will structure it accordingly.
Generate – Enter a prompt in your chosen language, and Gamma will generate content based on your input.

What if my preferred language is not available in Gamma’s settings?

You can use your browser’s built-in translation feature to translate the interface.

Why does Gamma not stay in my selected language after a refresh?

If your browser settings default to a different language, it may override Gamma’s selection. Ensure your browser language settings are correctly configured.

Can I use Gamma in multiple languages at once?
