Gamma sites let you take what you’ve made and shape it into something uniquely yours.

How to Set Up Your Site in Gamma
Step 1: Access Site Settings
Open your published gamma.
Click the three-dot menu (…) menu in the top-right corner.
Select Site settings to access customization options.
Step 2: Customize Your Domain
Under Site Settings, choose Add custom domain.
Follow the prompts to set up via automatic or manual DNS configuration.
After domain verification, allow a few hours for your SSL certificate to finalize. Temporary security warnings may appear but will resolve once the certificate is issued.
You can also customize your gamma.site domain by clicking the edit icon.

Step 3: Customize Site Name & Favicon
In the Site Settings panel:
Update your site name.
Upload a favicon (recommended size: 128x128px).
Step 4: Add Navigation (Navbar)
Enable the navigation bar from Site Settings found in the three-dot menu (…) menu in the top-right corner.
Once enabled, you’ll see the navbar at the top of your site.
Hover to find the + icon and add links to other pages or external URLs.
Click any existing nav item to:
Change text
Adjust alignment
Set or edit the URL
Delete the link
The navigation bar is structured into three main areas:
Left Section, where you can upload your website logo for branding;
Middle Section, which accommodates up to 5 links or items; and
Right Section, where you can add up to 2 buttons. These limits ensure consistent design across your site.
🌀 Insight: Navbars sync across all site pages. Changes only go live after you click Publish.
If you don’t see the ‘+’ symbol, it may be because you’ve reached the maximum limit for links or buttons in the navigation bar.
Step 5: Add & Manage Multiple Pages
Click the Toggle Pages Panel in the top-left corner.
Click + Add page to start from scratch or generate one with AI.
Hover over a page in the sidebar and click the three-dot menu (…) menu to:
Rename the page
Set URL path (leave blank to make it your homepage)
Preview the public version
Duplicate the page
Unpublish the page without affecting the rest of the site

Step 6: Connect Pages via Navbar (Use Case)
Want your nav item to link to another Gamma page?
Add a page like Contact Us
In the navbar, click to edit the link.
Select the corresponding internal page or paste an external URL.
💎 Pro Tip: The site doesn't need to be published to link nav items - just enabled.
Step 7: Set Page Descriptions (For SEO)
Click the three-dot menu (…) menu beside a page.
Select Page setup > Preview.
Add a title, URL path, and page description.
Click Publish to push changes live.

Step 8: Publish Your Site or Pages
To publish changes across the entire site (theme, nav, etc.), click Publish.
To publish changes to an individual page only, open the page's three-dot menu (…) menu and select Publish page.
What DNS records to enter at your registrar
🔷 Note: When you choose Manual DNS setup, the form inside Gamma is display-only — it shows you the values to copy. You enter these records in your registrar's DNS panel, not in Gamma.

@ means your root domain — some registrars label this as your bare domain name or leave the Name/Host field blank. You must add both A records; adding only one is a common cause of domain verification failure.
Finding your DNS settings: the section has different names depending on your registrar — DNS (GoDaddy), DNS / Records (IONOS), Advanced DNS (Namecheap), DNS → Records (Cloudflare — set records to DNS Only / grey cloud, not Proxied), DNS / Nameservers (Hostinger), Zone Editor (HostGator / cPanel).
Analytics
To monitor traffic and performance:
Go to Site Settings.
Add Google Tag Manager to connect analytics tools like Google Analytics.

FAQs & Common Issues
Why does my site show a security warning after setting up a custom domain?
SSL certificates typically activate within a few hours of domain verification. If you're still seeing a security warning after waiting, check that both A-record IPs are correctly entered at your registrar (3.136.232.26 and 3.137.108.170), and if using Cloudflare, ensure your DNS records are set to DNS Only (grey cloud) — not Proxied. Clear your browser cache and test in a private/incognito window. If the warning persists beyond 24 hours after these checks, let us know — a human agent can check the SSL certificate status directly.
Can I publish a single page without affecting my entire site?
Yes. Use the page-specific three-dot menu (…) menu and choose Publish page.
Do nav changes apply to all pages?
Yes. Navigation is synced across all site pages and will update once the site is re-published.
Why isn’t my favicon showing up?
Make sure the uploaded image is square and exactly 128x128px. Also ensure your site is published.
Can I add more than five links or two buttons?
No, the navigation bar design limits you to five items in the middle section and two buttons on the right side.
What happens if the nav bar is empty?
If your navigation bar is empty, you need to manually add buttons or links using Gamma’s editing tools. Refer to Step 4 for detailed navigation bar setup instructions.
Why can't I see the + symbol to add more items?
This typically happens if you’ve already reached the limit for the number of buttons or links allowed.
My domain is connected but the site loads a blank page or the wrong content
This is caused by a missing home page setting. The page that appears at your custom domain is whichever page has a blank URL path. To fix: open the Pages panel (top-left toggle), hover over the page that should be your homepage, click the three-dot menu (…) → Page setup, and clear the URL path field so it is completely empty. Then republish your site.
I've waited more than 24 hours and my domain is still not verifying or loading — what should I try?
Try these checks first: (1) Confirm both A-record IPs are entered at your registrar (3.136.232.26 and 3.137.108.170) — missing one is a common cause of failure. (2) If you recently transferred your domain from another registrar, look for leftover DNSSEC or DS records at your current registrar and delete them. (3) Verify the CNAME points exactly to sites.gamma.app with no trailing characters or spaces. (4) Use a tool like whatsmydns.net to confirm your records have propagated globally. If everything looks correct and the domain still isn't working, let us know — a human agent can check the domain status on our end.
My domain shows 'Failed' in Gamma despite correct-looking DNS records
The most common cause is leftover DNSSEC or DS records from a previous domain registrar. Go to your current registrar's DNS settings, find any DS or DNSSEC entries, and delete them. Then wait up to 24 hours. Also verify that both A-record IPs are entered — having only one is another frequent cause of a Failed status.
What is ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR and how do I fix it?
This error typically appears after DNS has propagated but while Gamma's SSL certificate is still being provisioned for your domain. It usually resolves on its own within a few hours. Try again later, or test in a different browser or an incognito window. If it persists beyond 24 hours after your domain showed as verified in Gamma, let us know — a human agent can take a closer look at the setup.
