How to Publish a Site in Gamma
🌀 Insight: When you make updates to your gamma site, those changes won’t go live immediately.
This gives you flexibility to preview your edits and publish only when you're ready.
Step 1: Preview Your Site
Open your gamma.
Click the Publish dropdown in the top-right corner.
Select Preview to view your site in desktop, tablet, or mobile mode.
Step 2: Publish All Site Changes
Once satisfied, click the Publish button.
This will apply updates across all site pages and reflect changes to the theme, navigation bar, and site-level settings.
Step 3: Publish a Single Page
If you only need to update a specific page:
Click on the Publish dropdown in the top right corner.
Select Publish current page.
🔷 Note: This publishes content for that one page only, without changing the site-wide theme or navigation.
How to Unpublish and Disable a Gamma Site
Need to take your site offline? Disabling a site will remove public access without deleting your content.
Step 1: Access Site Settings
Click the three-dot menu (…) in the top right corner.
Select Site Settings from the dropdown.
Step 2: Disable the Site
In the Site Settings panel, toggle the Site Enabled option off.
Your site will no longer be publicly accessible.
💎 Pro Tip: You can re-enable the site anytime by toggling it back on.
FAQs & Common Issues
Can I preview my site without publishing?
Yes! Use the Preview option in the Publish dropdown to view how your site looks on different devices before publishing.
If I publish one page, will other pages update?
No. Publishing a single page only updates that page’s content. Theme and navigation changes only go live when you publish the full site.
How do I remove my site from the internet completely?
Disable your site from the Site Settings menu. This will unpublish all pages, but your content will remain editable.
