What is Google Indexing?
Google Indexing is the process by which Google adds your site pages to its search results. After you've enabled indexing following the steps above, you can request Google take a look at your site as well.
How to Request Indexing for Your Gamma Site
Step 1: Link to Your Site Externally
Google discovers new pages by following links from existing websites. Make sure your site is linked from one or more of the following:
Your social media profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram bio)
Your personal website or blog
Public forums, online communities, or online directories
Another Gamma site that is already indexed
💎 Pro Tip: Without external links, Google may not be able to find your site naturally.
Step 2: Use Google Search Console
If you want to speed up the process, you can manually submit your site to Google using Google Search Console.
Go to Google Search Console.
Add your site as a property (using the full URL of your Gamma site or custom domain).
Verify ownership using the recommended method (usually HTML tag or DNS settings).
Once verified, use the URL Inspection Tool to check the indexing status.
Step 3: Request Indexing
Paste your site’s URL into the URL Inspection Tool.
Click Request Indexing if it hasn’t been indexed yet.
Repeat this step for any additional subpages you want to ensure are indexed.
