FAQs & Common Issues
I can't find the theme or colour options in Gamma 5. Where did they go?
In Gamma 5, theme and colour settings moved to the Styles panel. They're not missing.
In your gamma, click Styles in the top-right toolbar, then click Themes to change your theme.
Can I revert to a previous theme?
Yes. Open Styles, click Themes, choose Use a theme preset, and pick any available theme.
Will my changes affect previously created content?
No, changing the theme only updates the visual styling-your content remains intact.
Why isn't my theme's background showing?
Your gamma may have its own background set in Page setup > Background. That setting overrides the theme's background.
To use the theme's background again, open the three-dot menu (…) > Page setup > Background and clear it. Do this in the editor, because Agent can't clear it for you.
Why didn't my gamma change when I edited the theme?
Gammas made in Gamma 5 take a copy of the theme when they're created, so later edits to the workspace theme don't change them. To update one, open Styles, click Themes, choose Use a theme preset, and pick the theme again.
Gammas made before Gamma 5 stay linked to the theme and update automatically.
Can I create a theme from a PowerPoint file?
Not right now. Gamma can't pull a theme out of a PowerPoint or Google Slides file.
Instead, create a custom theme and set your fonts, colours, and logo yourself.
To reuse a whole PowerPoint design, including its layouts, import the file and save it as a workspace template.
Do I need to reapply my theme each time I edit a site?
No, but if you've updated a theme for a published site, you’ll need to click Publish again for the changes to appear.
