What Is The Visuals Menu?
The visuals menu lets you customize the overall look and feel of your gamma in one place - helping you set cohesive visuals quickly and easily.
🔷 Note: You can choose a theme, select your image source, apply a preset or custom image style, and fine-tune how AI-generated images appear.
How to Customise Visuals Using the Visuals Menu
Step 1: Open the Visuals Menu
You can find the visuals menu in three places:
Inside the prompt editor when starting from "Paste" or "Generate".
Under the AI image generation tab.
From the image drawer in the editor.
Step 2: Choose a Theme
Themes give your gamma an instant visual identity by setting typography, layout, and color palette.
Theme selection now appears up front in the prompt editor.
You can pick from a range of pre-designed themes.
Step 3: Pick an Image Source
You can choose from different image sources like:
AI images (default).
Unsplash, Giphy, web images, pictographic, or your own uploads.
You can also select “Image placeholders” or “Don’t add images” if you prefer.
Step 4: Select an AI Image Model (if using AI images)
If you're generating images with AI:
By default, Gamma will choose the best model for you as seen in the “Auto-select AI image model”.
To pick your own model: simply click on “Auto-select” and a dropdown list of available models will appear (e.g. DALL·E 3, GPT Image, Flux Kontext Max, etc.).
Step 5: Apply an Image Art Style
Have a specific art style or aesthetic in mind?
Click on one of the art style presets (e.g. photography, illustration, abstract, 3D or line art).
These are one-click shortcuts for commonly used visual styles.
Select "Custom" if you want to manually enter your own style.
Step 6: Add Extra Keywords (Optional)
To fine-tune your AI images even more:
Add descriptive keywords like ‘airy’, ‘moody’, or ‘bold’ to influence the final look.
You can mix presets + custom keywords for more control.
💎 Pro Tip: For the fastest setup, simply pick a theme + an image style preset. Gamma handles the rest.
