If you originally signed up for Gamma using Google, you may want the option to also log in using your email address and a password. This article will walk you through how to do this.

What Methods Can I Use To Log Into Gamma?

Your Gamma account can be accessed using either a Google account or an email and password combination. Gamma now allows users to use both methods to log in; users are no longer limited to using just one method.

How To Switch From Google To A Password?

Step 1: Visit the Sign-In Page

Go to gamma.app and click "Log in" in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Select Your Login Method

Choose Continue with Google: If you originally signed up using your Google account, you must click this button to access your account, until you set a password.

Step 3: Add A Password

  1. Select your profile icon on the top right corner of your Gamma homepage.

  2. Click "Account Settings".

  3. Click "Sign in & security"

  4. Click "Add Password"

  5. You will then be emailed a link to add a password. Find this email in your inbox, and click "Set up password"

  6. Gamma will open up a modal where you can set your new password. Click 'Add password' to finalize and save.

You can now log into Gamma either using Google, or by using your email and new password.

Can I remove my Google login from Gamma?

  • There is no way to "remove" your Google sign in. However, after a password is added, the Google information is not visible in Gamma. It will always show as though you've logged in with an email address and password.
