What is a card?

A card is a container for your content. Think of them like slides, sections, or canvases.

How can I add more cards to my gamma?

To add a new card to your gamma, you can either manually create one, or ask AI to do it for you.

To manually add a new card, simply click the plus sign:

You can hover in between cards and the plus sign should appear.

How can I add a card using AI?

To add a card with AI, first click the sparkle icon.

If your gamma has content already, our AI will suggest some topics. If you don't like any of those, you can describe what you'd like included in the content, adjust the language, and choose your preferred template for the content:

Can I add multiple cards at once?

Not at the moment.

Are there templates?

Yes! Click on the down arrow next to the sparkle icon to see all of our card templates.

Is there a limit to how many cards I can add?

No, you can add as many cards as you'd like to your gamma. If you're using AI to add cards on a Free plan, you may run out of credits — but you can always create more manually.

Pro tip: Right now within Gamma, card sizes do not lock. You can adjust your card sizing under Page Settings, to set an minimum aspect ratio, but the card will still grow taller the more content you add. If you set the card sizing to anything but fluid (for example, 16:9), dotted guidelines will appear so you can adjust your content and move to another card if desired.

By default, the height of cards in Gamma is flexible. They will expand or shrink to fit your content, but you can set a height minimum in Page setup (learn more How to control card sizes and use other page setup options in Gamma).
