How do I manage or cancel my Gamma subscription?

How to cancel your Gamma subscription, manage billing settings, and understand the refund policy for monthly and annual plans.

Introduction

If you’re looking to make changes to your Gamma subscription - whether that’s updating billing details, cancelling your plan, or understanding our renewal timeline - this guide will walk you through the steps.

How to Manage Your Gamma Subscription

How to view or update your billing details

To manage your payment method, invoices, or billing information for your Gamma subscription:

  1. Click the Settings button (⚙️ icon) in the left sidebar.

    • On mobile: Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the upper-left corner to open the sidebar first.

  2. Click Billing.

  3. Click Manage subscription in Stripe to view or edit your payment method and invoices.

🌀 Insight: If you don't see a Billing tab and instead see a banner to upgrade your workspace, you are on the Free plan and do not have an active subscription to manage.

How to Cancel Your Gamma Subscription

To cancel your Gamma subscription:

  1. Click the Settings button (⚙️ icon) in the left sidebar.

    • On mobile: Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the upper-left corner to open the sidebar first.

  2. At the top of the sidebar, confirm your workspace and plan. You should see your workspace name and the plan you are on (e.g., Plus, Pro). If it says "Free," there is no active subscription under this workspace.

    • If you don't see your subscription: Click your initials or logo in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar to check if you have alternate workspaces. If you still can't find it, try logging out and logging in with a different email address.

  3. Click Billing.

    • If Billing is missing and you see a banner to upgrade, you are on the Free plan and do not have an active subscription to cancel.

  4. At the bottom of the Billing page, click Cancel subscription.

    • If Cancel subscription is greyed out, you may not be the billing admin for this workspace. You will need to ask the billing admin to cancel the subscription.

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Cancellation Policy & Renewal Timeline

To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel at least 30 days before your plan's renewal date. If you received an auto-renewal notification, you have 30 days from the date of that notice to cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the current term ends.

🔷 Note: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically issue a refund. If you subscribed within the last 3 days and haven't exceeded your plan's credit usage threshold, you may be eligible for a refund — let us know and we'll check for you.

  • You may be eligible for a refund if you're within the 3-day window and under the credit usage threshold. Let us know your situation and we can review your options.

  • Additional rights may apply depending on your location under local consumer protection laws.

What happens to my content if I cancel?

  • You’ll retain access to your content, but any features exclusive to paid plans will be disabled after your subscription ends.

Why can't I access the Billing tab even though I'm being charged for a subscription?

  • If you're being charged but your workspace shows "Free" or you can't find the Billing tab, you are most likely logged into a different workspace than the one with the active subscription.
