How to Add Content in Gamma

Option 1: Using the Insert Bar

The insert bar provides a visual way to browse and insert different content blocks.

Step 1: Open the Insert Bar

  1. Open your gamma.

  2. Locate the insert bar on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Select & Drag Content

  1. Browse through the available content types (e.g., text blocks, images, media, embeds).

  2. Click and drag your desired block into the gamma.

Option 2: Using the Slash (/) Command

The slash (/) command allows you to quickly insert content blocks using your keyboard.

Step 1: Type the Slash Command

  1. Click inside a text area or a blank space within a card.

  2. Type / to open the content search menu.

Step 2: Select a Block

  1. Scroll through the available options or start typing to search.

  2. Click the desired block or press Enter to insert it.

Why can’t I add content on mobile?

  • Currently, Gamma only supports editing on desktop. Mobile editing is not available yet.

What if I don’t see the insert bar?

  • If the insert bar is hidden, try resizing your window or reopening your gamma.

Can I customize blocks?

  • Yes! After inserting a block, you can edit text, adjust formatting, and customize styles.
