Introduction
Workspace admins can force sign out any member of their workspace. This immediately ends that member's active Gamma sessions on web and mobile, and they will need to sign in again to continue using Gamma.
🔷 Note: Force sign out is available on all Gamma plans.
How do I force sign out a member?
From the Gamma home page (dashboard), go to Settings & members.
Find the member in your Members list.
Click the three-dot menu (…) next to their name and select Force sign out.
You can also choose to revoke the member's API keys and any active OAuth sessions, such as using Gamma from Claude or ChatGPT. If you revoke these, the member will need to create new API keys and reconnect any integrations.
🌀 Insight: Force sign out does not remove the member from your workspace. It only ends their active sessions. To remove someone entirely, see How can I remove users from my workspace?
FAQs & Common Issues
What happens after I force sign out a member?
The member is signed out of all Gamma sessions on web and mobile.
If you also revoked their API keys and OAuth sessions, any connected apps lose access until the member creates new keys or reconnects.
The member can sign in again right away. Force sign out does not block or suspend their account.
Does force sign out remove the member or change their role?
No. Their account, role, and content are unchanged. They simply need to sign in again.
Who can force sign out a member?
Only workspace admins can force sign out members.
