Introduction
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a secure authentication method that allows you to log in to Gamma using your organization's identity provider (such as Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, or OneLogin). When your organization sets up SSO, your IT administrators can require all employees with company email addresses to log in to Gamma using this method. This ensures consistent security policies and access controls across your organization.

Troubleshooting
I can't log in with SSO
Possible causes and solutions:
You're not assigned to Gamma in your identity provider
Error message: "User not assigned to this app"
Solution: Contact your IT administrator to request access to Gamma in your company's identity provider
Your organization hasn't configured SSO yet
Solution: Check with your IT team to confirm SSO is set up. If SSO was recently made mandatory, ask them to verify the WorkOS configuration
You're using the wrong login method
Solution: Make sure you're clicking "Continue with SSO" (not username/password)
Your session expired
Solution: SSO sessions last for 1 day. Simply log in again through SSO
I see an error: "Invalid username or password"
Once SSO is required for your email domain, username and password authentication is disabled. You must use SSO instead:
Return to the login page
Click Continue with SSO
Enter your work email address
Complete authentication through your organization's identity provider
I was logged out unexpectedly
If your organization recently made SSO mandatory (day 30 of the rollout), all non-SSO sessions are terminated. Simply log back in using SSO.
I can't access my personal workspace anymore
If you used your work email for a personal workspace:
Log in using SSO with your work email
Your personal workspace should still be accessible
If you prefer to separate work and personal use, consider creating a new Gamma account with a personal email address
The "Continue with SSO" button isn't working
Try these steps:
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Try a different browser or use an incognito/private window
Make sure you're entering your full work email address
Contact Gamma support if the issue persists
I need help from my IT administrator
If you're experiencing login issues related to SSO, your IT administrator can help with:
Verifying you're assigned to Gamma in your identity provider
Checking the SSO configuration in WorkOS
Confirming domain verification is complete
Reviewing any access restrictions or security policies
