Introduction
Gamma integrates with the AI tools and automation platforms you already use, so you can create and manage content without leaving your workflow. There are two ways to connect:
Connectors -- AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Glean, Superhuman, Atlassian, Cursor, and Grok connect to Gamma through the Gamma MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. You create and edit content through natural conversation with no technical setup.
Automation platforms -- Tools like Zapier, Make, and n8n connect to Gamma through the Gamma API, letting you build automated workflows with no code.

What can you do with Gamma integrations?
Depending on the tool you use, you can:
Generate content -- Create presentations, documents, webpages, or social posts with control over tone, layout, images, and themes.
Browse themes -- Browse and search Gamma's theme library, including your workspace's custom themes, to match your brand or style.
Organize your work -- Assign generated content to folders in your Gamma workspace during creation.
Edit existing gammas -- Ask a connector to change a gamma you have edit access to, like "make the tone more formal." Also available in n8n and the Gamma app for Slack. Zapier and Make can create but not edit.
Available connectors
Connectors let you create and edit Gamma content through natural conversation in AI tools. No API key or technical setup required. Gamma works with any AI tool that supports MCP connections, including Claude, ChatGPT, Glean, and more. There's no fixed list, so if your tool supports connectors, it can connect to Gamma. Automation platforms connect Gamma to hundreds of other apps through the Gamma API, letting you trigger content creation from events in your existing tools.
Connecting a tool that isn't listed
If your AI tool supports custom MCP connections but doesn't have Gamma in its app library, you can connect Gamma manually using the Gamma MCP server URL.
In your AI tool, open its connected apps, connectors, or integrations settings.
Choose the option to add a custom app or MCP server.
Enter the Gamma MCP server URL:
https://mcp.gamma.app/mcp.Follow the prompts to sign in and authorize your Gamma account.
If the tool reports a redirect URI or registration error, it hasn't been onboarded yet. Ask the tool's maker to request access at developers.gamma.app/mcp/gamma-mcp-server, or use a tool from the list above.

FAQs and common issues
I can't find Gamma in my tool.
Not all platforms have a Gamma integration available yet.
If your tool supports custom MCP servers, follow the steps in "Connecting a tool that isn't listed" above.
I'm seeing an authentication error.
Your connection to Gamma may have expired.
Disconnect and reconnect the Gamma integration in your tool to refresh your authentication.
Which Gamma account does my connector use? My existing gammas are missing after connecting.
When you connect Gamma in an AI tool like ChatGPT, Claude, Slack, Glean, Superhuman, Atlassian, or Cursor, the connector links to whichever Gamma account you're signed in to at gamma.app in that browser.
If you were signed in to a different Gamma account when you connected, new gammas are created in that account. Your existing gammas are still in your original account.
To switch accounts: sign in to the Gamma account you want at gamma.app, then disconnect and reconnect Gamma in your AI tool.
I'm seeing an "insufficient credits" error.
Your Gamma account doesn't have enough credits to complete the generation.
You can purchase more credits in your Gamma Account Settings or upgrade your plan.
Can I edit my gamma from a connector or automation platform?
Connectors (ChatGPT, Claude, Slack, and any MCP client): Yes, on all plans.
What edits can do: Rewrite, add, remove, or reorder cards. Edits can't add new pages, can't be made to archived gammas, and use credits. Each edit changes one page, and only one edit runs on a page at a time.
Gamma's Slack app: Yes. Paste a gamma link and describe the change. Gamma edits that page and replies in the thread.
n8n: Use the Edit and Get Edit Status operations.
Zapier and Make: Create only. Open the gamma in the Gamma app to make changes.
What's the difference between connectors, automation platforms, and the Gamma API?
Connectors are the easiest option -- create and edit gammas through natural conversation in AI tools like Claude, with no technical setup.
Automation platforms like Zapier, Make, and n8n let you automate Gamma workflows with no code.
Gamma MCP and Gamma API are for developers building custom integrations with full programmatic control.
I can't access a gamma that was created through ChatGPT.
Gammas generated via ChatGPT are tied to an anonymous session and are not linked to any Gamma account. Because there's no owner to grant access, the standard sharing flow doesn't apply, so the link cannot be shared or unlocked after the fact.
To keep the content, the person who created it should open the link in the same browser session immediately and save it to their Gamma account before the session expires.
