Spotlight Mode in Gamma helps keep your audience focused by blurring all unrevealed content during a live presentation, showing one block of content at a time. This creates a guided and distraction-free viewing experience for your audience.

How to Use Spotlight Mode

Step 1: Start Your Presentation

Begin by entering Presentation Mode in any gamma deck.

Step 2: Enable Spotlight Mode

There are two ways to turn on Spotlight Mode:

  • Press S on your keyboard

  • OR, move your cursor to the top of the screen to open the presentation bar, then click Spotlight

Step 3: Advance Through Content

Use the arrow keys or click to progress through your content boxes one at a time. Spotlight Mode will blur upcoming content until you advance.

Step 4: Turn Off Spotlight Mode

To exit Spotlight Mode:

  • Press S again on your keyboard

  • OR, click Spotlight in the presentation bar once more
