So you want to change the email associated with your account...

There is a process for this, but it's a bit tricky. If you are on our free plan, please follow the below directions carefully, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Please note: If you have an active Gamma subscription, please contact us before making any changes. Instead of having you add a second account to your workspace and get billed twice, we will simply cancel your subscription and issue a prorated refund, leaving you free to resubscribe with your new email.

To change the email associated with your free Gamma account

1. Make sure you have a second account set up with the email you want to use. Then invite your second account to your original workspace. You can add members by opening the workspace settings. Just click the workspace name in the top left of the home screen and click Settings & members, then type the email in the invite box.

2. Make sure the share permissions for all of your old gammas are configured such that workspace members have full access. You can access the share permissions of a gamma by clicking Share > Invite others. This will prevent you from losing access to your old gammas later on.

3. Next, set your second account to be an admin in the workspace. You can do this in the workspace settings following the steps here: How to update user roles in your workspace.

4. Now remove your first account from the workspace. Please note that you will have to be signed into your new account to remove the first account. You can do this from the workspace settings section following the steps here: How to remove a user from your workspace.

5. All done! Your old workspace should now belong to your new account and you should still have access to all of your old gammas.

Again, we understand this process can be tricky, so please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. We're here to help!
