What is the Export Feature in Gamma?
Exporting in Gamma allows you to download a version of your gamma for offline use, sharing, or presenting in external tools like PowerPoint. Use this article to export your gamma to PDF, PNG, or PowerPoint, download a single slide, remove the Gamma watermark, and post directly to LinkedIn.

How to Export Your Gamma
Step 1: Open the Export Menu
You can access the export menu in two ways:
Click the Share button at the top right, then select Export.
Or, click the three-dot menu (…) in the top-right corner, then click Export.
Step 2: Choose Your Format
Once the export menu opens:
Select one of the available formats: PDF, PNG, or PowerPoint (PPTX)
Your file will begin downloading automatically once ready
You’ll also receive an email copy of the export for convenience
Step 3: Adjust Image Quality (optional)
In the export menu, use the Image quality slider to control the resolution of images in your exported file. Higher quality means sharper images and a larger file size; lower quality means faster downloads and smaller files. Leave it at the default if you're not sure — it works well for most uses.

Step 4: Keep Tables Editable in PowerPoint (optional)
When you export to PowerPoint (PPTX), tables in your gamma are exported as real, editable tables. That means you can edit the text and restyle the table directly in PowerPoint — or in Google Slides after uploading the PPTX file. This is on by default for all users on all plans, so there's nothing to turn on.
If you'd rather export tables the way they were before this update (as non-editable visuals), turn off the Editable tables toggle in the export menu before you export.
🔷 Note: PowerPoint does not support rounded corners on tables, so editable tables export with sharp corners even though Gamma's default styling shows rounded ones. All other table styling is preserved.
How to Export a Single Slide
Step 1: Access the Slide Export Option
Hover over the slide you want to export.
Click the three-dot menu (…) in the top-left corner of the slide.
Select the download icon and choose your preferred format.
How to Remove the Gamma Watermark
The 'Made by Gamma' badge appears on PDF and PPTX exports when your workspace is on the Free plan at the time of export — regardless of when the document was created. A document made on a paid plan will still show the badge if your subscription has since expired.
Resubscribing to any paid plan (Plus, Pro, or Ultra) removes the badge from all future exports. There is no retroactive removal — exports already made on a Free plan keep the badge.
Export vs. browser print
Exporting to PDF or PPTX via the Export button will stamp the badge if your workspace is on the Free plan. Browser printing (Cmd+P or Ctrl+P) from your own editor while signed in does not add the badge — regardless of plan. If you only need a personal printed copy, browser print is always badge-free.
What happens when your subscription expires?
Once your subscription expires, your workspace reverts to the Free plan. Any exports made from that point forward will include the badge — even for documents you created during your paid period. Resubscribe to any paid plan to remove the badge from future exports.
Basic Logo Removal with Paid Plans
Subscription Benefits: The Gamma logo is automatically removed for users subscribed to any paid plan, including Plus and Pro.

Subscription Activation: If the badge persists, verify whether your subscription is active. Navigate to Settings → Manage Subscription to ensure there are no failed or declined payment attempts.
🔷 Note: An inactive subscription due to payment issues will prevent premium features from activating.
How to Post To LinkedIn from Gamma
You can now post directly to LinkedIn from Gamma - no need to export to PDF first.
After you've created your gamma Presentation, simply click Share in the upper right toolbar in Gamma.
Select Export.
Choose LinkedIn.
You'll be prompted to log into LinkedIn if this is your first time posting directly from Gamma. After logging in, you'll be able to write your post contact before publishing directly to LinkedIn.
🔷 Note: Posting from Gamma connects to your personal LinkedIn profile only. Posting directly to a LinkedIn company page is not currently supported.
Export Limitations and Visual Differences
Gradient Headings: May render differently or default to a single colour in export. This is due to how third-party tools (like PowerPoint and PDF readers) handle gradients
Custom accent image shapes: Most effects export reliably. Accent image cutouts are now fully supported in PDF and PowerPoint. Some advanced visual effects (e.g. frosted overlays) may still use fallback styles.
Frosted backgrounds: May use fallback styles in PDF and PowerPoint exports for the same reason.
Rounded table corners: PowerPoint does not support rounded corners on tables, so editable tables export with sharp corners in PowerPoint and Google Slides. Every other table style is preserved.
Fonts in PDF and PNG exports: Fonts are embedded directly into PDF exports, so your presentation looks the same on any computer — nothing to install. PNG exports are flat images, so font compatibility isn't a factor either.
Fonts in PowerPoint and Google Slides exports: Gamma embeds your theme's fonts directly into the exported .pptx file — both Gamma's font library and any custom fonts you've uploaded — so text should display correctly without installing anything.
💎 Pro Tip: In rare cases, a font may not embed successfully — usually because the font file couldn't be fetched at the moment of export — and the file will fall back to whatever's installed on the viewer's computer. If you want to guarantee an exact match, it never hurts to click on the font(s) in the Install fonts box in the export menu and install them locally before presenting or sharing.
A few edge cases worth knowing about:
Only the theme's heading and body fonts (plus their bold weights) are embedded. Italic text uses a slanted version of the regular font rather than a true italic font file, which can look slightly different from what you see in the editor.
The app opening the file needs to support embedded fonts. Google Slides, for example, ignores fonts embedded in an uploaded PowerPoint file and substitutes its own — this is a Google Slides limitation, not a Gamma one.

Can I export my Gamma to Google Slides?
Yes. Export it as a PowerPoint file, then upload it to Google Slides.
Can I edit my tables after exporting to PowerPoint or Google Slides?
Yes. Tables can export as editable tables, so you can change the text and styling in PowerPoint or in Google Slides after uploading the PPTX file.
This is available to all users on all plans, and it's on by default.
Why do my table corners look sharp instead of rounded after export?
PowerPoint does not support rounded corners on tables, so exported tables always have sharp corners. Colours, borders, and other table styles still export as expected.
If matching Gamma's rounded corners matters more than editing the table, turn off the Editable tables toggle in the export menu, or export to PDF instead.
Can I turn editable table export off?

You can switch the toggle back on at any time for future exports.
Can I export to PDF without the watermark?
